张桂凤女士从事幼教二十余年，至今担任伊桥幼儿学校华文课程专员已七年。 她的主要工作是支持教师提升日常教学实践。她深信环境能有效帮助幼儿学习与探索, 并力求将此理念运用于幼儿平日的华文学习中。

Profile

Mdm Zhang Guifeng has 21 years of experience supporting the learning of children and educators in the field of Early Childhood Education. She has been the pedagogist with E-Bridge Preschool for the past 7 years. Mdm Zhang believes strongly in the importance of a positive learning environment and actively advocates for child-initiated learning through the intentional design of a conducive environment for the learning of Chinese Language.

工作坊内容简介

幼儿一出生就对自己生活的世界充满好奇心，并且拥有探索世界的能力。他们善于从体验中学习，而这个过程中少不了成人的支持与互动。本工作坊将基于幼儿的这些特点，与大家探讨如何通过刻意的环境安排支持幼儿在体验式的互动中习得华文。我们会通过设置不同的材料桌，在看一看、玩一玩、做一做、说一说的过程中学习华文表达、促进亲子关系，同时也增加幼儿对华族文化的了解与兴趣。

Synopsis

Children are born with inherent abilities and are naturally curious about the world around them. They are adept at learning through hands-on experiences and they rely on the support of, and interaction with adults to learn. This workshop will explore and share ways to support young children in learning Chinese through experiential interactions in meaningful environments. Exploration tables with a variety of materials will be set up to engage children and motivate them to  express themselves through observing, playing, creating, and speaking. Such experiences will also promote parent-child relationships, as well as, increase children's understanding and interest in Chinese Language and culture.
