Profile

Mr James Lam is a Lead Teacher (Chinese Language) from South View Primary School, where he has been teaching for 9 years. He is one of the recipients of the Distinguished Chinese Language Teacher Awards 2022.
Known for his dedication to his students, Mr Lam is passionate about education and promoting the love of learning Chinese language. He is committed to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment that empowers each student to be self-directed learners where they can realise their full potential.

在本次分享会中，藍老师将导读绘本，引导孩子发挥想象力进行童话故事续写，并制作属于自己的八页小书，让孩子感受学习华文的乐趣。家长将能通过此分享会学习如何运用绘本，激发孩子学习华文的兴趣。

Synopsis

Do you have experience reading picture books with your children? Reading picture books can stimulate children's imagination and enhance their language acquisition skills.
In this workshop, Mr Lam will guide young participants in reading picture books and encourage them to use their imagination to complete a fairy tale story. By the end of the workshop, children will create their own eight-page book and experience the joy of learning Chinese language. Additionally, parents will gain valuable insights on how to leverage picture books to inspire their children in learning Chinese.
