Profile
Moses is an educator-artist. He has authored and illustrated a number of learning games and picture books. His teaching career started in Singapore over 20 years ago and has since headed schools in Singapore and in Indonesia. In recent years, as an education facilitator at the National Gallery Singapore, Moses conducts tours and has also designed art resources and videos. He is also an active community artist, working with seniors, and an adjunct faculty member at Singapore University of Social Sciences and Singapore Polytechnic.
Synopsis
Do you know that your mobile devices can be a useful tool in the learning of a mother tongue? Discover effective uses of iPads for active learning through this hands-on workshop.
At the end of this workshop, participants will
- appreciate the need for active learning in enhancing interest in Chinese Language
- be able to use common in-built features such as dictation
- experience creating a pdf e-book, a short movie and an interactive game
Demonstrations and hands-on will be done on the iPad. Participants must bring their own iPads.
