Happy Reading and Storytelling with Young Children
Cultivating good reading habits and developing an interest in reading for young children at an early age is critical. As many young children are unable to read independently, they need adult guidance and support to develop good reading habits. The presenter will be sharing different strategies and tips on reading and storytelling including the selection of suitable reading materials, and how parents and educators can relate post-reading activities to children’s daily lives. By combining all these strategies, reading can become fun and children’s interest in reading in Chinese further developed.
