介绍
胡恩恩博士是一位企业家，多媒体创作者也是一名多媒体创作者和教育系的教授。她是饮茶工作室的执行长，也是《点心侠》漫画系列与双语学习系统的创始人。胡博士拥有哥伦比亚大学师范学院的博士学位，并曾担任纽约长岛大学的教育系副教授和台湾国立中央大学客座教授。胡博士现与丈夫和女儿居住在台北。

胡恩恩博士曾经是“红毛派”英文教师，也曾经是撕毁自己华文课本的学生。胡博士将现身说法，分享她如何转变成可以用双语创作漫画的漫画家，以及她如何将漫画改编成音乐剧，在中国25个城市巡演的心路历程。她也将分享自己如何让在美国出生的女儿，从完全不会华文到能完全适应全华文环境的台湾公立小学的经验。
Profile
Dr. Woo Yen Yen is an entrepreneur, award-winning multimedia creator, and professor of education with a passion for culture hacking. She is the CEO of Yumcha Studios and the co-creator of the Dim Sum Warriors comics and bilingual learning system. She also holds a Doctorate in Curriculum Studies from Teachers College, Columbia University and was formerly Associate Professor of Education at Long Island University, New York, and Visiting Professor at Taiwan’s National Central University. She now lives in Taipei with her husband and daughter.

“I TORE UP MY CHINESE BOOK!” An English teacher’s Journey towards Getting her Daughter to Learn Chinese
Dr. Woo Yen Yen, former New York-based professor and English teacher, went from being a student who ripped up her Chinese textbook to one who writes Chinese comics. She has also created a giant musical that toured 25 cities in China. In this sharing, she will share her journey and valuable tips for getting her American-born daughter who had no Chinese background, to thrive in an all-Chinese instruction Taiwanese public school.
